Historic Pottery Assignment: Students recreate a pot from either the Chinese Neolithic Era or Japanese Jomon Pottery. They are asked to make a 14” tall pot inspired from one of these two periods in ceramic history with the coil method, basic carving methods and finish with iron wash fired in cone 6 reduction.
